Dino Moore using his commercial yet soulful sound, reminiscent of Eric Benet, Maxwell, Prince and Usher began his journey
between…1993-1994: when he sang with the very popular Seattle based R&B singing group, Simply Smooth. One highlight was performing in
front of 10,000 people at the Kube 93 Birthday Jam in the Exhibition Hall at Seattle Center, where the song,
“Friend In You” was on regular rotation at Kube 93 FM. 1994-1996: He joined the Seattle R&B singing group,
Popular Demand performing at all the local dance clubs in Seattle, Tacoma, and Bellevue as well as some in California and Canada.
The EP, “Popular Demand” sold over 4,000 units. 1997-1999: Worked with long time friend Norb Caoili creating the
Seattle R&B/Pop Duo MBD (Music By Design) where they performed at venues in Seattle and The Philippines.
They received a small record deal in the Philippines where their cd’s were sold in local music stores. 2000-2002:
Using all the skills he had attained from the past, Dino joined his first Seattle Cover Band Pop Life, and began performing
in the Seattle/Tacoma area. 2003-2004: Opportunity arose to do freelance vocal work around the world with artists,
producers and video production businesses including projects for Safeco, a Canadian TV movie, the TV program “The Shield”
and Quantum Video projects. 2004-2005: Joined the Seattle Cover Band, Notorious 253 and performed at most every casino
in the Seattle/Tacoma area. 2006: Hiatus (GOT MARRIED!)
2007: ONCORE!!! (Where all the other cover bands shook in their boots and quit!) |
