Mark Adams
Mark Adams graduated from Garfield High School in Seattle and studied jazz under Gary Peacock at Cornish College of the Arts. As a member of the group Bensusen, Mark played in Kenny G.'s first series of concerts as a solo artist. He also performed with Sam Smith, one of Seattle's foremost male R&B vocalists. For two years, Mark toured Japan and the western United States as a member of the show band, The Steppen Stones. From 1987 to 1993, he performed in Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe and Atlantic City. During that time, Mark played with the Imperials as well as Sonny Turner, former lead vocalist of the Platters. Since moving back to Seattle in 1994, Mark has played with many local bands including: Slamm, Blue Bossa, Project L.A, Barbie Anaka, Korla Wygal, Martin Ross, Society's Child, Entourage, Elite, Cornucopia, Coolade, Hit Explosion, Gruvbox and Player's Club. In addition to playing guitar, Mark plays bass and sings.
