As an up and coming pianist/vocalist, Rebecca Barney has had the opportunity to play with many of Seattle's greatest and most talented musicians. Rebecca, originally from Yakima, Washington began playing professionally with groups at the age of 16. She toured all over the West Coast and as far as London, England with names such as David Newton, Kristen Korb, and Al Hood, current lead trumpet for Phil Collins. Rebecca majored in Composition at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA. After moving to Seattle in 2003, Rebecca has put her talents to good use teaching private piano and vocal lessons, performing frequently, and writing original compositions.
